This policy explains what information Cape Cod Gas Driver Dispatch collects from our delivery drivers, how we use it, and how we handle mobile and text message information.
Who this covers
Cape Cod Gas Driver Dispatch is an internal tool for Cape Cod Gas delivery drivers. The people who use it are the company's own drivers, not customers or the general public.
Information we collect
- Your name and mobile phone number.
- A record of your consent to receive dispatch text messages, with a timestamp.
- The jobs assigned to you and your pickup and delivery confirmations.
- Standard message delivery information from our text message provider.
How we use it
- To send you your assigned pickup and delivery jobs by text message.
- To let you confirm pickup and delivery, and to coordinate your run.
- To keep accurate operational records of deliveries.
Mobile information and text messages
No mobile information is sold. We do not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We share your mobile number only with the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf, solely to send you dispatch messages.
Consent and your choices
You agree to receive dispatch texts when you are added to the system, and that consent is recorded with a timestamp. You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP, or by asking the office to remove your number. Reply HELP or call 508 273 0051 with any questions.
Service providers
We use a text messaging provider to deliver the messages. That provider processes your mobile number only to send our messages and under its own obligations. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Data retention
We keep dispatch and delivery records for as long as needed for our operations and recordkeeping. If you are removed as a driver, we retain only what we need for those records.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
