Terms of Service
These terms govern the Cape Cod Gas Driver Dispatch service and its text message program. By using the service or agreeing to receive our texts, you accept these terms.
The service
Cape Cod Gas Driver Dispatch is an internal tool that Cape Cod Gas uses to send its own delivery drivers their assigned pickup and delivery jobs, and to let drivers confirm pickup and delivery. It is provided for the company's drivers only, not for customers or the general public.
Text message program
Program. Cape Cod Gas Driver Dispatch sends drivers their assigned jobs by text message. Each message names the customer, the address, the fuel and gallons, and the terminal pickup details. Drivers reply with a number to confirm pickup and delivery.
Consent. A driver agrees to receive these messages when they are added to the system, and that agreement is recorded with a timestamp. Consent is not a condition of employment beyond the driver's ordinary work duties.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your assigned work. You receive a message when you are dispatched a job and as you confirm pickup and delivery.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply.
Help and opting out
For help, reply HELP or call the Cape Cod Gas office at 508 273 0051.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply START to resume.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
Eligibility
The service is for Cape Cod Gas delivery drivers. You may use it only for your work with Cape Cod Gas and only for the mobile number on file for you.
Acceptable use
Use the service honestly and only for its intended purpose. Do not share your access with anyone else, and do not use the service to send content that is unlawful or that you are not authorized to send.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an as available basis without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Cape Cod Gas is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from any delay or failure in message delivery.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top shows when this page was last revised.
